Intense suspense surrounds Alice, a young married woman, whose only mistake was to  buy a feather cushion to some gypsies. Scientific horror skillfully combined with esoteric elements, produce a terrifying sense of permanent domestic danger. Mysteriously Alice's life gets consumed as nobody can cure her from something unknown. The last twenty minutes of this picture lack dialogues, making the most prevented audiences shake all over. This made critics call Feather Cushion's director, a new John Carpenter.

Trivia:

  • Special Effects for dinner...One of the scenes required a woman's head breaking up as a horrid bug comes from inside. To achieve this effect in a realistic way, Islas bought brain at a regular butchery. Unaware of the infamous activities of his son, Ricardo's father found the brains in the refrigerator and became them in the family delicious dinner for that night.
